Mum’s usually darting between tables and the kitchen, keeping everything (and everyone) in line.

Dad? You’ll find him behind the wok station, cooking up a storm and feeding the masses.

Together, they’ve been the heartbeat of Grape Garden since 1989 — serving up good food, big laughs, and a whole lot of love, all inspired by their Beijing roots.

Our way to share the flavours and stories that have shaped our family and our restaurant for nearly 40 years. It starts with Mum’s chilli oil — a long-time favourite at the restaurant — now bottled so you can enjoy it at home.

And over time, we hope to share more of the small-batch sauces and pantry staples our family has lovingly made over the past 40 years.

Cooking doesn’t have to be complicated. And flavour doesn’t have to take hours.
